Business Management at North Canyon

Business Management provides students with an overview of the nature and function of business. Topics such as money, banking, credit, budgeting, insurance, advertising, investments, taxes, e-commerce and career opportunities are included.

Students gain an awareness of the business environment and current business events. This course is recommended for students who have an interest in business and a desire to understand how business works in today’s global economy. Students develop leadership and community service skills through participation in a career technical student organization (CTSO) FBLA, where they also have the opportunity to compete at a local, state or international level.
